Pitch Training and Pitch Skills for Asian Startups
As part of our work to provide social entrepreneurship training for youth and young adults, we aim to support young professionals to develop their skills, knowledge, and confidence to pursue an entrepreneurial career but one that delivers a social impact to our communities.
For those of you who are new to the tech scene in the Nordic Region, TechBBQ is the largest start-up and innovation summit in Scandinavia held each year in September. With over 7000 expected participants this year, TechBBQ continues to provide insights to those trying to build thriving local communities of entrepreneurs in their cities. This year, the Innovation Lab Asia (ILA) will act as a key partner to bridge and enhance cooperation between Danish and Asian innovation ecosystems.
As part of ILA’s goal to provide knowledge-base for Asian start-ups and scaleups looking to collaborate with Denmark, we at SOCENTCPH aim to provide pitch training sessions for 5 start-ups from South Korea that will be among the Asian delegation traveling to Denmark to compete for their various pitch competitions.
The young entrepreneurs will learn to write a great pitch deck with the use of powerful storytelling techniques. By now you’ve probably heard the saying that facts tell, but stories sell. A well-written pitch deck that incorporates storytelling will ensure they connect to their target audience and create interest in their business. Moreover, participants in this workshop will get an overview of the Danish market to shape their pitch stories to attract local investors in Denmark. It is our biggest desire to help these 5 start-ups create pitching stories to take investors on a journey and make them feel connected to their character which ultimately makes them more likely to be invested in their character’s success!
